Jaycotts have a vast range of the main pattern brands, great if you’re looking for classic styles.
John Lewis hide their sewing patterns in the sports and leisure section on line, it took me a number of attempts to track them down, but was well worth it as they have some designer names you will recognise.
Named There is an increasing number of online providers of downloadable patterns. Named are one of my favourite, their patterns are modern, innovative and have typically Scandinavian clean lines.
White Lodge Fabric have a very comprehensive range of fabric, from value synthetics to stunning occasion fabrics. I would browse by fabric or colour here as some of the categories are a little dubious.
Ditto Fabrics have a lovely selection and a well organised website, a little less overwhelming than some.
Chrisanne Clover are a first point of call for everything latin and ballroom, they stock the most amazing technical fabrics, trims and crystals.
Trim it have many of the equivalent fabrics to the big brands and I highly recommend you have a look to compare prices.
